It's from my water dispenser on the door. It runs from that all the way down to the bottom of my refrigerator. about 10 streaks....it looks horrible. I have tried everything to get rid of these water stains but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

  1. Hi Lena,

I've had this problem myself, and I used the solution below and it seemed to work...hope it helps!

    Formula to Use:

    Pure white vinegar

    Method to Use:

    1. Fill a clean spray bottle with pure vinegar

    2. Spray the vinegar freely over the stainless steel & wait for a few minutes

    3. If stains are stubborn spray more vinegar and wait a while longer

    4. Simply wipe away with a clean cloth to reveal the shine

Tips: Sometimes stains are extra stubborn – for this make a paste of white vinegar and baking soda and scrub gently with a soft brush or sponge. Never use an abrasive cleaner like scouring pads, powders or steel wool as this will scratch the surface.

    Good luck!

  2. I have similar problems, and it became a pain to use that Stainless Steel cleaner that you had to like Wax in.  I hated it.   A friend of mine told me to spray Fantastic on ours, wipe it on... leave it for a few, and then use a damp cloth to wipe away the Fantastic.  It worked, and I was in awe.   Try it and see if it helps.

Also - if you have hard water stains in your area where the water collects from the ice/water machine dispenser area, soak a little Lime Away there for a bit.   It comes up.
