Help! I have jury duty next week and I have nothing appropriate to wear?

I have dozens of miniskirts and cute tops but nothing conservative to wear to court. I can't afford to buy anything either. My work clothes are a uniform so I do not want to wear that either.

  1. Go to Goodwill and find a pair of slacks that match one of your tops and wear long sleeves as previous poster suggested.

It is cold there. Don't forget something to read.

  2. Use the pants from work. As to the top use a nice one that match with your pants, try to use a long shirt too maybe to the mid waist so your pants won't look that tight. Also, wear a nice, comfortable sweater on top.

  3. What kind of uniform?  That would be OK if you have nothing else and no one from whom to borrow.

If you do wear a miniskirt, you probably will get picked, contrary to the other poster's response.

  4. maybe if you wear your mini skirts you wont get picked!

  5. Borrow something from a freind.

Dress pants and a casual dress shirt, you do not have to go all out for Jury duty!

  6. Wear the pants with a nice shirt. If your 'cute tops' show too much skin, wear a long sleeve shirt over one.  It is often cold in government buildings, you don't want to show up in something skimpy.

  7. Hey sweetie, it's Jury Duty not a fashion show.  You want to look intellligent, but neutral.  Slacks can work.  If you have only cute tops and no blouse, think of wearing a sweater or light jacket over the top (the court's airconditioning may be cold anyway).  Once you're selected, you can wear jeans if you want, or even the minskirts.
