Help! I have very dry skin on my face

Question

and need to know what is the best foundation and pressed or loose powder for that? Regardless of exfoliating and using a facial lotion 1-2 hours before putting on make-up, I still see flakes of dry skin around my mouth and on my cheeks. It's so embarrassing! Please help. And by the way, I've tried the Almay foundation and powder for dry skin with no luck at all so something besides that.

Continue using your normal foundation... what u need to do is apply a tiny tiny bit and i mean tiny bit of either petroleum jelly or hydrcotizo gel not cream then put on ur foundation then powder. It works wonderfully. But make sure u put the powder over the foundation so it wont look so oily, and this technique will also help with ur makeup lasting longer.

Try Olay Complete all day moisture lotion for sensitive skin.

You can get it at any walmart or shaws or anywhere you would get your regular facewash

Since you have a dry skin you should put face lotion or do a face mask before applying makeup on your face. After doing a face mask your skin is moisture and it's easy to apply foundation on your skin.  It own't feel dry at all.  The best make up to use is liquid foundation because you have a dry skin.  Don't use loose powder if you have a dry skin on your face.

you need to moistourize your skin over-night with something strong. Try putting either carmex(yes the stuff for your lips), or vaseline, on the dry areas overnight then wipe them off in the morning. Also, you might need to use a less agressive cleanser or toner in your skin care routine because some acne fighting medications dry your skin out, especially those with alcohol.
