Help! I just moved into a new home with an Advantium and am having a party.....how do I cook cocktail franks?

Go look in the appetizer section of Super Target's frozen food isle. They have some ready made cocktail franks that you just pop in the oven and they taste great. plus, there's tons of other party foods that look fancy but taste great! and you can't beat the low prices and fast prep time! enjoy your party!

This is an old, stand-by recipe, that you make in a crockpot:

FANCY FRANKS

1 12-oz. bottle chili sauce

1 10-oz. jar grape jelly

1 13-1/2oz. can drained pineapple chunks

1 lb. cocktail franks

Simmer chili sauce & grape jelly in saucepan until melted (about 15 min.)... Then put everything into the crockpot and simmer on low ...... serve with toothpicks

Prepare them your regular way and cook them for no more that 10 min.. it's going to be trial and error until you get used to the oven anyhow.

You could also use a crockpot to make them....

COCKTAIL FRANKS  

5 lbs. smoked cocktail franks

1 1/2 c. hickory smoked BBQ sauce

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. water

1/4 c. bourbon

2 tbsp. minced onion

Combine ingredients in crockpot or chafing dish. Simmer for several hours. Serve.

Grill or cook in pan on stove top for 5 minutes and serve.
