Help!! I messed up BAD! Web Pages have Lines, blanks, dashes, missing words paragraphs!???

Question

OMG, I've done so much in the last day to my computer, there's no way I can give details. I've been running every spyware, trojan, virus scanner I could find as dictated by Major Geeks.com, but in the process, I've also messed with my registry & god knows what all.

I have a Dell, WinXP, using ie7, maxthon and firefox browsers.

My problem: When I go to a web page, information is missing big time--there will be the main headers, but like, threads have questions, but blank boxes where the answers are. I tried to sign into MajorGeeks, but the UserName box doesn't show anything with I type! If I do an eBay search, in the dropdown box there should be about 8 sort choices listed for me to click on, but all i get is " +shipment" twice!? IT's really weird!

I can't reinstall XP. My cd/rom rw drive is broken.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Calm down.

Try going to the top left of your browser and selecting (in the toolbar)

View,then going to Page Style.

If "No style" is the one checked,change it to "Basic Style"
