Help! I need a faster way to get ready for a garage sale! Can you help me?

It's going to be on Saturday and I need a faster way to get stuff together! Please help!

Instead of pricing the things ahead of time, just name a price at the check out.

Ask your closest friends/family/neighbors to help out. Put stuff in certain piles. i.e. kitchen, clothes, toys, etc. Have tables and and a price chart/list for yourself, unless your naming prices off top of your head.  I'm pretty sure the final hour of your sale, your just try to get rid of stuff at any price.   Hopefully that helps

hey, star girl,

first clean out the garage..ya gonna need space to put stuff

2.  go through everything ya wanna get rid of.

3.  to receive the best price, clean everything so that it looks as close to new as possible.

4.  sort items into categories, just like the aisles in a store

  kitchen stuff, childrens clothes, gardening stuff, etc.

5.  do not price the items, allow people to make an offer.\

you can always say no.

6.  be sure to put up a large sign "ALL SALES ARE FINAL"

7. limit the amount of cash on hand, less to be stolen

8.  decide your hours...garage people like very early, like 6 am on saturday.  

9  place an ad in the local classified ads

10.  put up posters about five days in advance on telephone poles, the grocery store cork board, etc.

11.  Be ready for lots of action.

the earlier in the spring ya do one, the better.  People will remember you sale, especially if everything was polished and like new.

take everything you dont want and put it in your garage and then when saturday morning comes open your garage door......and wallah your open for business!! it usually is good if your organized and have things priced and what not but ive been to tons of yard sales where all people did was put stuff in their garaga and open the door...GL
