Help? I need a god quality hotel OUTSIDE tijuana, mexico --any ideas???

Question

I want t travel travel to TJ however we prefer a hotel outside of the border.

Somewhere..... 2-3 *** stars preferred.

Any useful suggestions will be helpful.....If needed we will travel up to 20 miles for a good hotel...

Please refrain from rude remarks....

My husband and I are planning to take his mother to visit one of her sisters in September 08' and some need advice.

The closest hotel that would be even close to a 2-3 star are in San Ysidro, I wouldn't recommend any of them. You should stay at Hotel Lucerna in Tijuana instead.They have great service and its very nice and safe. But anything in San Ysidro is the same deal, crappy and expensive. A Google search will let you know where to stay in San Ysidro.
