Question:

Help! I need a make-over?

I do wear a lot of foundation and blush since I hate my skin and facial features make me depressed beyond belief.

I look like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28891892@N06/

Since its a gorgeous day and I'm leaving for school soon, I figured I need something to help me be at least a little attractive.

Also, how big of a make-over would I need to attract at least a semi-cute guy. My looks expectations are not as high as my intellect ones, but still, we all know guys are guys.

I've had a rough summer since the guys at my internship, even the staff thought I wasn't pretty enough to include in their little clique, which scared me since now I run the risk of ruining my career since I'm not pretty enough.

So, in a bid to end this summer of sadness, what would you suggest besides hair which is always down and either straight or lightly wavy (and long).

Here are two possible outfits for today: 1) http://www.flickr.com/photos/28891892@N06/2765426261/in/photostream/

Or 2) http://www.flickr.com/photos/28891892@N06/2766261602/in/photostream/ with black, strappy heels.

Which out fit would be better and what make-up would help me look at least a little attractive?

also, I'm an adult, when a mature young adult who detests stores like Holister or Abercrombie and the like, so please refrain from suggesting those like the girls from my other question did. Thanks =)

  1. Honey, you are a knockout! You truly are beautiful. Is is possible that you didn't get invited into the clique because you are too self conscious - not too ugly? Once you start to realize how lovely you are, it won't matter what you wear.

  2. I would go for a run or something. Make yourself feel good on the inside and it will make you look good on the outside. If you have inner confidence it will show. If you want a make over you can always put in a request to be on TLC's What Not To Wear or TLC's 10 Years Younger. Add your own personal style to you outfits. Mix Match. Wear a red shirt with jeans and green shoes. If you wear neutral colors wear a bold colored shoe. Like hot pink or yellow. Hope I could help. Have a good day at school. :DD

  3. i think you should stop wearing a bunch of red and blue. since your

hair is brown wear navy, pink, light blue, and maybe white. you should

also stop wearing t- shirts. wear tank tops and it doesn't matter where

you shop. you can find many different places with cute things as long

as that place had things that fit you. your hair is beautiful so wear it

down. curl it, put it in a half ponytail, that type. You are very pretty so

wear flowy dresses, short shorts. try not to wear so many

jeans. You are seriously very pretty and very attractive!! I hope i helped.

  5. ..."Also, how big of a make-over would I need to attract at least a semi-cute guy. "

I'm a semi-cute guy and I'm attracted, so I'd say none. By the way, I like the first outfit better.

  6. you are gorgeous! give yourself some credit!!! maybe try adding a pink or shimmery shawdow to your eyes and try a plum eyeliner. let your hair down it looks very pretty! flash your smile!

  7. Are you joking? you're really pretty.

  8. I suggest you try to make friends with people who aren't as materialistic and shallow. However, you seem pretty shallow yourself, all you seem to care about is looks. You are "depressed beyond belief" over your facial features? Seriously? People who are scarred or disfigured may have the right to be depressed "beyond belief" over their looks, not people like you. Get something real to worry about before making throwaway, glib remarks like that. And what sort of "career" do you think you'll be ruining due to your unattractiveness? Modelling? Sweetie, that's a job, not a career. If you want to carve a career out for yourself, try growing up, stop worrying about attracting "semi cute guys" and get a life.

  9. Girl, you are very pretty! I don't know why you have such low confidence in yourself.

If you want a change, maybe try wearing your hair different sometimes. You can straighten it, then curl the ends or put it back in a low, stylish ponytail. Or try wearing your hair down and straight. Just mix it up every once in a while!

I think your make up looks perfectly fine. If you would like to try something new, put some foundation on (I can't see if you are wearing any in the picture). You have very pretty eyes! Add mascara and a little bit of eyeliner if you choose. Have you tried eyeshadow? Eyeshadow can brighten an appearance... Choose shades that blend with your skin tone (no bright reds!). These are just a few make up tips that look good on almost everyone, so give them a try if you would like.

As far as the outfit goes, I like the second one a lot. I think it would look great on your skin tone.

You are very pretty... Don't put yourself down so much! :)
