Help! I need centerpiece ideas for a luau themed party of approx. 200 people?

We are having a customer appreciation party this Saturday and I am scrambling to find some centerpiece ideas. We will have about 200 people in attendance and 18 tables. They are fully skirted tables with white linens. I'm looking for something really nice but not crazy expensive. I need help!!

porcupines! no not the animal either. take a head of cabbage cut the bottom flat then take diffrent fruits on tooth picks and stick them in the cabbage. they will be a big hit.

buy little rocks, tea lights ,and brown paper bags pour about 2inches of pebbles into the bag. then cut 2 inches off the bag and put the tea lights inside the bags and light them!

Get a floral piece of material and cut large squares of it.Put it on the tables and add a color matching flower in a vase.If possible a small live plant with a color coordinating piece of material around the pot.Then you could give them as door prizes after the meal.Just draw names and have them take the one they like.Hope this helps...

getting something as pineapples (or a simple white candle) to set in the middle of the table, surrounded by an assortment of shells that you can purchase at a local arts and craft store.

I made a really great one for the holidays:

Using styrofoam blocks, build a 3-tiered base and secure with dowels. On the top, place the green part that you cut off a pineapple. Hollow out the rest of the pineapple, and fill with a fruit dip, setting it on the bottom layer. Poke grape clusters and strawberries around the foam pieces, then tuck fake flowers to fill it in.

It was stunning, and not all that hard. And it was delicious, too!
