Help! I need help finding a certain Trans Am year?!?!?!?

My dad's friend had a blue and silver Trans Am Iroc. I have no idea what year, but i know the color and i know he changed the chip in it... He may have said it was a 1980 but did Irocs exist then? Help!!!!!

For one, a Trans Am is a Pontiac Firebird and an IROC is a Chevy Camaro. There 2 different cars so there's no such thing as a Trans-Am IROC. It's one or the other.

They made IROC's from around '85 to '87 give or take a year.

1980 years did not have ECMs, unless he swapped in a late model LT1 or LS1, therefore it could possibly have a chip.
