Help! I need recipes for meals that are dairy, egg, and soy -free.?

Unfortunately, my 16 month old is allergic to all three. While I know she will probably outgrow most of these, it has been so tough right now to find anything she can eat! She eats a lot of fresh fruits and some lunch meats (that don't contain the soy protein). I haven't been very lucky getting her to eat veggies. She will eat veggie chips though. As far as snacks we're pretty much limited to a particular brand of graham crackers, butter-flavored puff corn, and Cheerios. It seems like EVERYTHING has soy in it! Every single bread on my grocery store shelf has soy in it. I've tried rice bread and she refuses to eat it. I have resorted to making homemade bread, but it spoils so easily. Any ideas on some toddler-friendly meals or snacks that don't include these ingrediants?

  1. Galaxy Products makes "cheese" slices and "parmesan" that are soy free and vegan.  You can use those.  You might also try ground flaxseed to replace your eggs in baking/making burgers or meatballs.

You're gonna have to make everything homemade, basically.  Sorry.  :-(  Soy is in damned near everything nowadays.  I'd probably stick with things like chickpeas, hummus, falafels, plain pasta with sauce and meatballs, homemade burgers, baked beans, and lentils - relying heavily on salt, pepper, and whatever spices you can convince her to eat.

Have you tried starting her out on avocadoes or butternut squash (any roasted, sweet veggies, really)?  My godson refused to touch veggies, but started eating them gradually with avocadoes and squashes.
