I really want to break into the acting industry... I know what your thinking here's another hopless looser..lol.. but im really not im so serious about this it's like I have a overwhelming love for the talent. My problem is I don't really know where to start. I see all these websites posting auditions but it's really hard for me to belive that they actually work (especially the ones that ask you for a bunch of money before you can even type your name lol) I am a 21 yr old female and feeling like im running out of time due to my age, I live in upstate N.Y. and thinking about making a move to Cali... anyone with any kind of tips will be greatly apprecitated.... Thanks

  1. Go on youtube and search sonyafeed, you should be able to find  A BUNCH of videos on how to become a disney channel star!

  2. wo0ow we have the exact same prob I feel the same way exept im 14,anyways people told me that brodway...hahaha I am so sorry I can´t spell it right but that you can get descoverd there..im going to try that soon ..well goodluck hope yo0 dream comes true and it will just try really hard

  3. try this site out. hollywood-opportunities (dot) com. it's not one of those sites you're talking about. it can really help. it's got tips and stuff.

  4. Moving is very costly especially with the gas prices now days. You don't really have to move to Cali. What you need to do is audition and get some parts at your local theaters around your area and try to find an acting school. It takes years and years to build a resume and that is what you need to do first. If you move down to Cali you will have to do the same thing any ways. No agent will look at you without a resume. Being 21yrs old is fine there are plenty of roles for everyone at all ages. I don't understand why everyone says you have to start as early as possible. I think it's trying to be famous and on a cover of a magazine rather than wanting to be an an actual ACTOR. Best of luck!
