I'm thinking about buying him socks but I don't know which would be best for playing tennis. I don't think he want tennis rackets or shoes. So I need help with thinking of possible gifts.

Please keep price reasonable.

  1. or why don't you go with your father to a place where they shoot the balls automatically for tennis.

you buy the tickets for him and you. you can take your dad to eat something.

it will be more preferable if you take him somewhere. he'll like it more than you buying him some socks.

  2. This website has the coolest tennis gifts around http://www.tennisgifts.com/

The water bottle with stress ball is one of my favorites http://www.tennisgifts.com/water_bottle_...

This might be a cool gift for your dad http://www.tennisgifts.com/watchdunlop.h...

    or this http://www.tennisgifts.com/stein_rachand...

    or this http://www.tennisgifts.com/alarmclock_th...

They have expedited shipping and free wrapping too.

There are some cool stuff here http://www.autumnavenue.com/ But I've never used this site

  3. How about US Open or some other tournament tickets?

  4. Get him Thorlo padded socks.  The extra padding they have in the ball and heel help prevent blisters. Here's a link to their website:

  5. I would say a tennis bag too... it doesn't have to be expensive.

  6. if your father, like most of us, has a beat up tennis bag, maybe give him a new tennis bag, a red wilson 6-pack bag is always a good choice.

  7. A gift certificate to have his racquet restrung.....or make up a tennis gift basket with a can of balls, a couple of new grips, some wrist bands, head bands, new water bottle, a first aid kit for his tennis bag complete with sunscreen, bandaids, eyeglass cleaner, etc...anything he might use on the tennis court.  If he doesn't like that, you can send it to me!

  8. there is a new book just out -a sort of autobiography of Pete Sampras written with the help of the tennis commentator Pete Bodo. It's supposed to be pretty good-mostly about tennis and not about tennis gossip and it's available online at Amazon.com for about $15   (or is that 15 Euros?)

    title:" A Champion's Mind"

  9. -Good set of strings like natural gut.

    -Case of tennis balls.

    -A few packets of overgrips.

    All pretty much utilitarian.

  10. Buy a plain white t-shirt and write down "GAME, SET, MATCH" by using a permanent marker :)
