For several years I would find these tiny bugs (about 1/8") on my kitchen counters occasionally. They were always dead & looked almost like the shell of a bug. They were so light you could easily blow them off the counter. Now I'm seeing lots more of them - & these are alive. Seen mostly at night, all over the house. They fly & when they land they look like a piece of lint or something. I killed one last night & noticed the wings hang off the back of the body just slightly. Hard to see the details they are so small, but they are brown/black & have vertical stripes. When you squish them sometimes they bleed, sometimes they don't. They fly really fast! They have a black head, no antennae. My windows are open a lot so maybe they come in thru the screens? We are in CO & they are driving me nuts. I can't figure out if they bite or not - but after 3 days of looking all over online, I can't figure out what they are. Can someome please help me figure out what they are? Please??
