Is there anything that anyone knows of that I can do? I have to drive to get to work, these tickets are from 1997 and 1999 in Illinois. They are not DUI.

Just speeding, driving with suspended license and no insurance, total of 6 tickets from 3 traffic stops... I don't know what to do. I don't have that kind of money. Can anyone give me some advise?

  1. I'd talk to an attorney.  Maybe motion the cases back into court.  You are gonna have to pay, but maybe they can make the amount more reasonalbe.

  2. There is nothing and I do mean nothing you can do except pay.

Head down to your bank and apply for a line of credit.

  3. PAY THE FINES!!   YOU EARNED THE FINES SO PAY UP OR DON'T GET YOUR LICENSE BACK!

  4. See if you can arrange a payment plan with them.

  5. You should have put yourself on a payment plan when you had the opportunity to do so.

You deserve what you got and no, until you work this out you cannot renew your drivers license.

  6. Try talking to the DMV

    Then a lawyer

Last apply for a hardship license to get to work while you settle on a payment arrangement and get them paid.

  7. There's nothing you can do except pay up. Until you do, they can hold up your license renewal indefinitely.

Your only other choice is to drive illegally. But if they catch you doing that with your record, you'll be heading to jail for a while.
