Question:

Help! I think I'm cursed!?

So here's the deal:

I recentley revisited a favorite camping site of mine with a couple chums, to enjoy a night in the woods. Upon arrival we find a tree severed in half with a deer skull positioned with two (we believe hawk) feathers stuck in the eye holes, right in front of the shelter. We were taken back by it, but one of the friends insisted on camping there. Throughout the night, the skull was knocked off, dowsed in drink, and other things that happen to belongings in the woods, while camping. Talk of it being cursed was brought up, but my chums didn't care for that idea.

Now when I've returned home and gone back to normal life, many bad things have happened to me (friend's car tire popping, bike tire exploding, and other mishappenings that seem out of the norm).

I believe I am cursed. This is plea for help, I've been one of good fortune for a while now, and cannot deal with this bad luck. Especially because I am now embarking on a important new chapter in my life. WHAT CAN I DO?!?!

  1. You have to make reparations. Take  it back to where you found it and leave it the way you found it. Then apologize for disturbing it.  Bring something nice as an offering.

A curse only has power if you believe it does.  I understand that it may be hard to just stop believing, so try the aforementioned ways. If you still have problems, then ritually cleanse yourself and your home. That should help.

  2. I have no reason to believe you are cursed, as this was not the intent of the one who set the skull.

However, you may have angered a spirit, that was called to protect the place you stayed at.

The best you can do is revisit the site, and basically apologise to the spirit. You will know if it is effective right there and then because it will feel like a burden has been lifted.

Start by tidying up  - every bit of broken glass or litter.

Then sit in the dusk as the sun goes down - and say out loud that you will now look after this place for the future.   That should do it.

I can see you taking a small lantern to do this which is fine, and you may meet an animal which will be more than friendly. If this is the case - be friendly back for goodness sake !

  3. Shame on you first of all, you don't f*ck with anything you find like that! Go to Augustine's Spiritual Goods, they can help you. Putting it back won't take the curse away. Good luck to you.

  4. Put the skull back exactly like it was before, with the feathers and everything, then fall on your knees and beg for forgiveness for knocking it down and dowsing it in drink (wtf, you should never have done that).

  5. Go back to the site and repair the damage.  Put the skull and feather's back where they were.

The speak honestly and openly and apologize.

Give some kind of offering, something meaningful to you, that will show that you are actually respectful.  This might be bread and honey, milk and honey, an egg, tobacco, for example.

While I agree with most of what Mr P. suggested, I don't recommend making any kind of promise that you either can't, won't, or don't really have any intention of keeping.

Once you've done that. Return home and give your "curse" no more thought.  If something happens that makes you think of it, shake your head and remind yourself that you made amends.  Then just let it go.

Be well in heart and strong in spirit.

    Shosha

  6. Just chill, your not cursed.

  7. I dont think you are cursed for accidently knocking the skull off. Sometimes you get a flat tyre, its life, it happens. If you hadnt gone camping there then you wouldnt blink an eye lid at these events. I wouldnt stress about it.  If you are worried get yourself to church and seek the Lord Jesus Christ!

  8. you guys are retards!!! why on earth did you disturb something so obviously sacred/cursed/important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... i would wash it (and do so in the most time consuming, laborful manner (a spirit would be appeased if you broke your back trying to fix somethings you did wrong) then return it to its original location and pray to whatever God/god/gods you pray to.

  9. Dude, that is in your head, you just feel guilty about what you did because you didn't really know or understand what the deer head and feathers in the eyes were there for.  Let it go it was a mistake but if I were you I'd respect things I don't understand and leave them alone.  Peace out.
