Help! I think I have a spider bite!?

Okay well lately there's been spiders all over the place. at home, at my school, everywhere and I think I just got bit by a Brown Recluse but I'm not FOR SURE, i mean i live in Kansas so I guess there's lots of them here. What are the symptoms of a spider bite like that. Because it's on my arm, it itches but it doesn't hurt but my skin is hot tot he tough and I have a small green/brown scab. Is it a spider bite?

Oh and does anyone have any tips on how to keep spiders out of my room? My dad refuses to use pesticides.

it sounds like a spider bite to me i got bit and my arm swelled up, and i couldnt move it, i was bit on the elbow, Please go to dr, and tell your dad to spray, or call pest controll, we have brown recluces here in ky too

I'd go to the hospital or make a doctors appointment asap for tomorrow.

Spider bites shouldn't be taken lightly. One girl got bit at a camp, thought it wasn't serious and it got worse and got it taken care of but if she waited any longer she would of lost her leg. Get it checked out. Regardless if it isn't a spider bite. Could be something else that's not so good.

Be SURE this is a spider bite. I saw on a medical show once that a man died because he thought he had a spider bite but it was a Staph Infection, MERSA.

get to a doctor if the area is red and hot you have some kind of infection going on and you can place moth balls around your room to help with spiders they do not like them at all

A brown recluse bite doesn't heal very well, and if you let it go it can get worse as it actually eats at your skin. It would be like a sore that doesn't scab over.  Hope it doesn't get worse until tomorrow. Glad your going to see a doctor, it could be a spider bite. Good Luck
