Help I think I have gingivitis??

My gums bleed everytime i brush my teeth. Is it gingivitis and if so how do you treat it?

  1. You prob will need a deep cleaning called scaling and root planing. Use Listerine a few times a day and floss floss floss and this will help alot.


  2. I have gingivitis and the first sign of gingivitis is bleeding gums. My dentists always told me to run your toothbrush under warm water and massage your gums with your toothbrush. Also when you brush, brush softer and lighter. They'll bleed the first few times, but you'll find that it will subside.

    Oh I forgot! When you brush, brush in circles instead of back and forth. The same when you massage your gums with the toothbrush!
