depends on what you need them for:

Sports like running? asics

sports like foot ball or where you swervealot? nike

looking indi or alternative rock? converse

Sk8r boi? anything so long as it is wide and has brightly coloured laces. Schu and offspring do these sorts of shoe

Basket ball fan? or trying to look trendy? converse.

Vintage? adidas

comfort? french sole- no- only joking can see your a guy- but if you were a girl, I would strongly recommend these alone for comfort! Otherwise go for Nike Air

Get a white pair of Nike Air Force 1's. They'll look smart and fashionable for most occasions (except weddings).
