I have a very unusual specimen of a hibiscus that I found in my family's garden. It is two buds that share one set of sepals. They are side by side. I've never seen anything like it and I'm desperately trying to find out where I can send this to have it studied and developed into a new variety of hibiscus. How should I establish ownership of this new plant if it is developed? Should I patent it? Any help would be very appreciated! SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!!!
