Help! I won a radio contest but my phone disconnected!

Question

Help! What do I do? I was calling z100 for Jonas Brothers tickets and the DJ picked up and said "Hi, you ---" and then my cell phone disconnected! What am I supposed to do? If I call back saying that my phone got disconnected they won't believe me. Please someone help me!!

Unfortunately you have no recourse.  There are hundreds (maybe thousands for a station like Z100) calling for a contest at any given time, especially for something as hot as Jonas Brothers tickets.  You may be able to call, explain your situation, and get an "alternant" prize for your trouble.  That's what we do when we can verify there was a situation like this and the listener takes the time to follow up.  The last thing most radio stations want to do is disappoint litseners.  Good luck.
