Help! Ideas for project on governmental regulation!?

Question

My instructions:

Read a newspaper article about an event that involves governmental regulation of an industry; non-business regulation is acceptable only if you really, really can't find anything else or you have a particular interest , in which case talk to me first. The event should involve either a) a proposed action by a regulator, or (b) a proposed change in the regulations, or (c) likely future action leading to a change in the regulations. Regulations in this sense means both creation and application/enforcement.

Any ideas of something I could do this on? Thanks in advanced.

How 'bout government (epa) regulation and phase out of refrigerants (Freon), along with the mandate for increased efficiency of HVAC equipment..    It's made the HVAC industry go through some significant changes.
