Question:

Help! Identify this Spider!?

I keep killing these little spiders (anywhere from tiny, to little) that look an awful lot like a large spider I killed in my kitchen.

These spiders climb walls but don't seem to make webs.

I've killed at least 1-2 a day in my bathroom and bed room.

They are usually dark brown. They have red spots where there legs will bend.

I live in Arizona, but this spider is not a brown recluse, widow, or any other known spider here.

Please help me identify this spider!

  1. That's not much information to go on.  But a small web less spider that are everywhere are jumping spiders.  They come in a variety of colors and color patterns.  They capture prey by jumping up to several times their body length.  You can usually tell its a jumping spider by its habit of keeping its legs close to its body and by the fact that 2 of its eight eyes are rather large.  Here is some pictures.
