Help.. Im need of immediate financial help for something very important. If there isnt any family..what now??

My kids and I did come to arizona but things arent working out ritht away. I do need help but i need to learn how to bite down and just let some of that pride go. I believe its more embarrassing suffering and no one not knowing you need that help. than sitting there and just keeping quiet. I just decided to reach out. Im a good person and things just got a bit hard but im hopeful.. thanks you all for letting me get this out..

Okay, you're alone, you're new to the area, and you need money.

Get a phone book and look for some BLUE pages in it. These have government phone numbers for the state, county and city. Look under Social Services or maybe Crisis, Money, and Women. Look for the Welfare Department, maybe some 24-hour crisis lines you can call for some referrals.

Also check the Yellow Pages for Social Services. Some religion-based agencies can offer small financial grants, like Catholic Social Services or Jewish Family & Children's Services, and you don't have to be that religion to get help from them.
