Okay- so I used to weigh 294/296... I have lost 69lbs (25 since June 1st) and am now 225... However I seem to be "stuck" here.... I have a good 60-70lbs more to lose- and I know the closer I get the harder it will be to lose the weight but is there any tips on how to "jump start" my body back to losing weight? I know my body is thrilled that Ive lost what I have but I need it to CONTINUE to do so... Guess Im just getting a little nervous.. Thanks

  1. well make sure you are drinking water , the more water you are drinking the more weight you will lose. protein is also good for your diet it maintain's lean muscle and your body is 75 percent protein, so getting the proper protein in your diet will help you lose weight faster.i have only been taking these products for 2 months and im already in my clothes i was wearing before the baby. i have way more energy , more then i need. make sure you work out 45 minutes first thing in the morning cause that will help with your metabolism. when you eat eggs cause that is a great way to get protein only get the outer part of the egg.

  2. 1st.  Congrats.  Good Job.

2nd.  You have probably hit a plateau and need to shake up your workout routine.  If you've been using the treadmill, get on the eliptical or stairstepper, if you're lifting weights, change the exercises you are doing.  You're body will be forced to adapt and your weight loss will pick up again.

3rd.  I'd recommend 2 books and one website to help you do it:

Ultra-Metabolism by Dr. Mark Hyman, Body for Life by Bill Phillips, www.bodyforlife.com

Great work and keep it up.  Shake up that routine and hop off the plateau.

  3. How about tossing in some new kind of exercise - maybe a new sport you've been wanting to try?  A little extra cardio might burn a few more calories and knock you off that plateau!
