ok, so I have this friend. We have known each other since the first grade and now we are going to high school. We have never been that close, just friends. She is pretty popular and pretty much everyone likes her. It's just that I find it hard to have a good friendship with her, because she is judgemental about things. Like if I have a problem and I tell her she's pretty insensitive. Oh and she always likes things her way. She's very close to plenty of people but I want to get close to her but I don't know how. Help???

  1. why do you like being close to a person who doesn't care about your feelings? being pretty and popular is pointless if you doesn't know how to keep a friend, it is better to become a simple and  un notice person that can value a friend. you don't have to do anything cause shes not worth of your friendship why start to meet someone and be happy

  2. If you are in an abusive relationship, you may be accustomed to being treated badly--and you may think it is "normal"--because you don't know anything else.

Should a friend be judgmental? Should a friend be selfish? Should a friend be insensitive?

A better way to look at this is--if she were a man, would this person make a good husband?

  3. Dont trust her with any information--youll end up getting hurt. Try to stray away from her for awhile and hangout with new kids. If shes a good friend she will miss you--and be nicer to get you back. If she doesnt its her loss.

Dont worry about her in highschool youll make a ton of friends.

  4. if shes that insensitive..why are people friends with her? if you wanna be close tell her how you feel and that it bothers you but dont come across as annoying

  5. High school is a whole new world. Go to school, make new friends, if she is there great, but if not then don't let it worry you. Usually someone that is that judgmental will find out she is going to have a lot more people that will judge her. Then see if she can hold up to the pressure that will be put on her. The most important thing, is to be yourself, and people will always want to be around you, because they know that you can be trusted.  Enjoy your high school years, because they will go really fast, and the real world starts after that.
