Help! Labor question!!?

Ok I am 37 weeks pregnant. My due date is Sept 11th. I thought my water broke earlier so my doctor told me to go to the hospital. It didn't break. They said I was 1CM dilated and 80% effaced. I came home and went for a walk probably a little over a mile. Started having strong contractions. And noticed bleeding when I wiped just now. Any thoughts?

What color is the blood? You are probably just bleeding because the doc checked you for dilation. I always bleed a little bit after I am checked for dilation!

I would put a pad on and if you are bleeding enough to fill up a pad then I would go to the ER... Call and talk to your doctor and let him know that you are bleeding after your exam.

Sweetie, why did you go walking after leaving the hospital ? I think if there is red blood, you need to go back and demand to be checked..red blood is a sign of a problem, fresh blood. Good luck!

Sounds like you are losing your mucus plug. As long as the contractions stay consistent you could be in labor. Congrads
