Help! Making traditional spanish almond ice cream!?

Ok so for school i'm making traditional spanish almond ice cream. The recipe calls for one cinnamon stick. Do i leave the cinnamon stick whole, then remove it later, or grind it up?

  1. Yes, leave the cinnamon stick in there. Then take it out later. I do the same for the rice pudding.


  2. You need to remove the cinnamon stick. It is there only to impart flavour and aroma.
