I have a Nikon camera, and there is memory card that i have with it. i put it in my computer so i can transfer my pictures i took on to the computer, but it wont read the card.

its never done this before.

any ideas of what i can do to make this work.

  1. My camera does that sometimes. Take the card out, then restart everything- computer, camera, anything else connected.

    If that doesn't work, then your card might be shot.

Hi Maccy.  Hope I can help you with the problem.  I don't think I would play with the card too much...  The pictures may be there or something may happen and you could lose every one of them.  I suggest you take your card into Walgreens or CVS - or where ever they have a photolab and let the photo tech check to see if the pictures are really on the card or if something happened to it.   This way you wil know... I don't think they will charge you anything at all just to look at the card.    Hope that helps.
