  1. dont

  2. Well, if she says you won't take care of it then she must have a reason for thinking that. Have you ever done chores? Held a job? Done odds and ends for neighbors or family? Volunteered at a shelter or an old folks home? What about your grades at school - do you study every night? Those are the simplest ways to show you are responsible.

How do you even know that your flat allows pets? Maybe they just simply aren't allowed - most rented homes don't allow animals because the animals disturb their other customers (too noisy, no one picks up p**p, allergies, etc) or the pets damage the property (pee stains, chewed furniture, etc.)

Or maybe mom just doesn't want the extra hassle and costs of a dog. Dogs are expensive and time consuming - as the provider, mom already has a lot to think about. Like paying for the flat, her car, insurance, utilities, taxes, supporting you, working, and so on. A dog may not be the best thing for HER at the moment.

It sucks not being able to have your own pet but sometimes that's the way things are. A dog may not be the right thing for your whole family at this point and you need to accept that.

this link is about convincing your parents to get you a pet..

remember puppies grow up to be dogs..

    who is paying for it?

who is paying for food?  vet??

    you??

also you should NEVER NEVER buy a pup from a pet store- only ever ADOPT from animal shelter.. or buy from a reputable breeder..

  4. i dont think a dog in a flat is a good idea at all, when it gets bigger its going to have nowhere to run around, unless you go for a chichouoa (or however you spell it) which have complications of their own.

however, you will need to prove to your mom that you can look after the said dog, i.e money wise also, i  think you should talk to her sensibley without moaning or whining and just say, what would you like me 2 do? ask her to level with you, give her asks and you can take her up on them. if its an outright no just be very adult about it. then approach the subject agin in a few months.

gd luck and i hope u do look after the dog. x*x
