Help Me!!! DMV survival guide....?

For 10 points.. I need a really detailed decription on how to survive the DMV. It seems as though you can get a really nasty clerk and no matter what you do you're screwed!

What can I do? They will tell you what you need and then leave some part out, for you to come back and wait in line in vain. I'm sure you guys know about this.

So, when you don't bother to check out the on line pages to see what you need to do what you need to do at the DMV, and show up unprepared, that is the fault of the clerk?

They don't leave things out if you show up unprepared, they will tell you what you need, but you have wasted your time and theirs.

Get their early in the morning when the clerks are still smiling.
