  1. If you want a job, you just have to keep looking. There is probably not anything that you are doing that automatically prevents you from getting a job. It is a rare thing when finding a job is easy. People with far more experience than you often take longer than two months to find work. It usually took me about two months to find the next job when I was working as a computer programming contractor. Tell everyone you know that you are looking. That way, they will be on the look-out for you. Revisit places where you previously applied or renew your applications after a little time goes by. And keep looking. That is your job, now.

  2. You're slightly limited since school is starting and you'll only be able to do evenings/weekends.  But, this also means that some of the summer-only kids are quitting and going back to school full time. Focus on retail stores with late hours.  Did you make a follow up phone call or email?  How are you prepared when you walk in?  Do you seem interested in the company, friendly and eager, or just desperate to make a buck?  Are you wearing jeans and an old t-shirt, or some khakis and a collared shirt?  Even if on that job you'll wear jeans, make sure to look like you're trying.  Ask a friend/parent/teacher or anyone who knows you about your appearance and communication skills, and what they think might help.  Today's market is tough, but don't give up!  Good luck.

  3. >(*well since your 16 i think that you should get a job maybe in the mall or @ a place llike waterworld.

you can always babysit but if thats not your thing that aright*)<

  4. When I was about that age, the most common jobs were being a dishwasher in a restaurant, working at Pizza Hut, working at a movie theater, bagging groceries at the supermarket, sacking feed, or being a stocker at Wal-Mart.  Keep checking the newspapers and pay attention to stores that have help wanted signs, and don't rule out a job that you could do, even if it's not an interest of yours.  Like working in a paint store or something.  You might also look into the hospitality industry, they're always advertising for evening and weekend shifts.
