Im always thinking about something, and it always keeps me from getting to sleep. Im not sure if its because I just saw a scarry movie 2 nights ago, or if its some other reason. Im not that good with scarry movies, I hate em but I love em at the same time. I closed my eyes during half the movie. But even if I don't watch scarry movies, I still can't sleep. Im not sure if its because its summer time so I stay up later, which means I wake up later, so I can't get to sleep. Any tips on getting to sleep at night? Oh btw the movie was One Missed Call, even though I don't really like scarry movies I think it was pretty good.

  1. count sheep.

  2. Hey, I'm the same.  I tend to be lying there, thinking about something, trying to sleep.  Then I kinda get knocked from thinking about something, and I realise I'm frowning, cause I was thinking.  I think that's what stops me from getting to sleep most of the time.  Cause I'm all tensed up about what I'm thinking about.  Try and relex.  And if you've wached a scary movie, make sure a family member is still up when you go to bed.  It's always nice being able to hear subtle voices from a TV or whatever. =)

  3. try to think about something realllyyy boring

  4. This happens to me a lot too. Sometimes it's cause you're stressed or you're anxious. But most of the time it's just because you're too focused on going to sleep. Your mind's like, "I HAVE to sleep!" and this makes you stressed and makes it harder to sleep. Here's some tips:

    1. If you know you need to get a lot of sleep on a certain day, don't take any naps on that day. They make you stay up longer.

    2. Turn of all your lights. Darkness makes for better sleep.

    3. Read a book before going to sleep. This always works. If not, create a music playlist of slow, relaxing music and listen to it while going to sleep.

    Sweet dreams! :)

  5. milk, benadryl (which I hear has the same ingredient as sleep aids), boring movies you've seen before, a bath, an o****m...

  6. It's better to drink a glass of milk with honey before u go to bed.............Try this .......................

  7. Try this:

    1.   Finish you dinner early, say by 8 pm at the most. Take  some light food for dinner.  do not over eat.

    2.   Take a shower.  Drink a glass of warm milk. Listen to some soothing music classic/jazz etc.  Warm milk does the trick mostly.

    3.   Lying down sleep straight.    cover your eyes.  Keep your legs a feet apart. hands little away from the body with palms facing upwards.  Order your mind to delete/erase all thoughts.tell it to relax your body slowly, starting from your toe tips to fingertips.  I am sure this will take you in a mild trance and induce good sleep.  This may not work immediately, but within a couple of days you will see the results.

    Have a nice sleep.
