Help Me !! Its Annoying Me Sooo Much !?

I have already asked about this before but did'nt really get much help, so i'm asking again because its really annoying me now !

hehe

For christmas i got a new computer screen which are the new onces , flat screened and wide ( Like the Tv's Sorter Things ) Anyway I Have installed the drivers and everythink it works but everythink is streached and i can't play my game's or anything because it's all streached and it's so annoying when you get somthink that dose not work right.

It say's it recomends

1440 x 900 60Hz

But mine dose not show it so the nearest it i can get it is

1280 x 768 60Hz

As you can tell this is way out

How do i fix it ?

Please help !! i beg you so much haha !

p.s My brother has one to the same and it work's fine yet my computer is newer than his and it gose **** up !

Sounds like you may have an older graphics card that may not support the wide screen resolutions. (My older computer has a very similar problem with my new wide-screen monitor.  After updating the drivers and doing some research, I discovered that the graphics card did not support the wide screen resolutions.)

You may need to upgrade your graphics card to get the screen resolution you are looking for
