  1. Try to find bedding that has the wall color in it, but that mostly contains another color or colors overall.

For instance, you might go to WalMart one day and find a throw pillow with "ugly blue" and purple flowers on a white background with green vines.  If you can afford the bedding, dress your bed (and windows) with the white or the green.  Use purple throw pillows with one "color combo" throw pillow.

(This is only one scenario; use whatever floats your boat).

In doing this, you're acutally changing the wall color from a dominant force to an accent.  When using posters, try putting them in inexpensive poster frames.  They'll look a lot less tacky.

  2. One thing that might look cool is hanging some cool ribbons on our wall and  then hanging pictures on them.

    or picture frames

    get a cool bright comforter!

with tons of brightly colored pillows.

This will require some artistic ability but..

If you could get  a canvas then paint your name on it and hang it above your bed. could be fun with friends.

    If you have a desk.

try buying these $5 square cork boards they have a Walmart.

they look better then a normal cork board.

    good luck :D

  3. Bugger i was just bout say paint ur walls but just looked at the P.S.The thing i can think of is try changing the bedroom furniture around and put a bedspread on ur bed i found that made a difference in my bedroom i am like u i cant paint the walls because i am renting even try hanging some framed pictures instead of posters i hope this helps have fun.

  4. Well - if you can't paint the room, could you put fabric on the walls?  Use thumb tacks at the top & bottom to attach it and then run a bit of ribbon (use white glue to attach the ribbon to the fabic) down the "seams" of the fabric?

It could be expensive - so maybe you could just do one or two walls (the walls that you look at the most)?
