I can stay on a diet for like 2 or 3 days tops and one time I lost 2 pounds in 3 days. I was eating until I was full with fruits and veggies which worked. But then on the 3rd night, I was having a craving for chocolate, and pretty soon I ate 3 hershey chocolate bars and half a bag of Sun Chips!! Am I horrible or what?? How do I stop this horrible habit and get back onto my diet? It was working great! Then I ruined it and can't get back on it cause I want junk food.

The only thing I can think to do is get rid of the junk food but if I do that, I'll have an angry family. My dad, my sis, and my brother, all basically depend on junk food to stay alive. So there is no possible way I can just throw away junk food.

Help thanks!

  1. well i can tell you diets dont work!! you can eat all day if you just have portion control... dont eat anything bigger than the size of your fist! and another thing that works is to take a tabls of apple cidar vinegar before each meal, it burns fat ..reduces heartburn and high blood pressure! trust me diets dont work, when you go on a diet it puts your body in starvation mode and then when you start eating right again your body says;hey, we better store all this fat up incase it happens agin and then you gain your weight back, so just stick to what i said and eat plenty of good foods and drink water and excersize and you'lll be fine!

  2. The 'trick' is not to diet and not even to change your daily eating habit - The ideas is more like changing your weekly / monthly diet.

For example have breakfast every day because it fills you up and prevents cravings.  Cereal, apples.

Have soup and/salad with your meals and you'll have more control.

Add exercise - esp in the am because it boosts your metabolism.  10 or 20 reps of something in the am will make a diff.

Bet different varieties of snacks for you so your family's junk food won't tempt you quite as much - Are there any healthy foods that you really like?  If yes, splurge on that food - so that you can  have a buffer to protect you from the less healthy ones.

Variety in your foods helps control cravings:  Sometimes we gorge because we're desperately trying to make up for what we're not getting - strictly foodwise.  Adding a variety of spices will add flavor so you can do without fat.  Adding pepper can sometimes satisfy texture cravings.  Use fresh foods to satisfy the desire for crispy, crunchy food. Use olives, nuts, raisins in salads and you can probably cut down on dressing.  Make your own croutons and you get to be in charge of salt/fat content.

Build in desserts and other snakcs into the week, so you don't snap.  And if you do snap - 's'okay! - you'll get back on track next day.

  3. Will power is the key but if your slacking on will power but need something to keep you on track then take a look at this website

    http://www.SlimEffects.com

They have Phentramin D and it will curb your appetite and keep you in line thats for sure. Its kind of pricey but well worth the money. I have been on it for about six months now and the first month i lost close to 20 lbs and then every month after between 7-10 lbs a month,

    Good luck in your journey!

  4. Its not about getting rid of junk food comepletely, its about balance and cutting down the calories and fat, because- lets face it!!! None of us can stop eating chocolate comepletely!!

Instead, plan out what u are gonna do every day, and maybe u could mix up a chocolate banana smoothie!! U GET BOTH!!
