Help Me Please! My straightener smells like sulfur, why is this?

does this mean it's broken. it will still heat up but it smells so bad like super strong sulfur!

  1. The wires or the socket you are using maybe the cause. Buy a new one.  


  2. how long have you had it?  mine is starting to get like that.  i use it so much.  i would get a new one if i were you.
