hi i am 15, and I am having a problem with my period. Its not starting when its supposed to. I usually start the mid-week of-each month.[[14-19]]. but i haven't started yet this month, and this happened sometime before. Isn't this abnormal for my age?I think i'm out of that phase when i skip a month. and I'm not sexually active either.

can it be stress related, that im not starting my period?

thanks,

  1. Yes, it could be stress related.  And since you're only 15, your body hasn't gotten used to having a menstrual cycle.  It's probably still trying to regulate itself.  You shouldn't worry about it, since you're not sexually active.  This happens to every woman when they begin menstruating.  I highly doubt that women can be regular right off the bat.

  2. It can take years fora  girl to be on a normal menstrual cycle, and many things (such as intense exercise and especially s*x) can throw it off again.

  3. You could see a doctor and find out, but I don't think it's something you should freak out about because at 15 your body is still changing and your cycle hasn't regulated itself yet.

  4. It happens to everyone, you may just skip a period this month. Lucky You

  5. don't worry sweetie your period would soon come as possible ok . maybe u still have irregular period still . just be patience for your body and everything and think postive as well . so or later your period would come . i understand how u feel . having your period is part of being a woman and stuff , and its totally normal and everything . try to ingore it when you get your period soon or later . to tell you the truth sweeite i always tell my mom that i hate getting my  period and she told me that i have to get used to it and i hate getting my period when i have to walk it drip and drop alot ugh i hate it lol :) . so dont worry about it alot so much ok . your period will soon come to u i know it would i promise u it would . take care and good luck and everything ok

  6. What you are experiencing is completely normal.  Especially in younger women such as you.  Teenagers often experience abnormalities in their cycle, such as their period coming at odd times.

Also, when I was younger (I am 31 now) every year or so my cycle would change, and on the month it changed I would have a weird month.  It would go from a 28 day cycle to like 40 days, and then change from the heaviest day being the first day to the heaviest day being the second day.  My body was adjusting as I was growing older.

    But yes, its perfectly fine.

  7. It's actually normal for teen girls but what u can do is ask ur mom about it or have ur parent take u to a Gynecologist to talk with him/her.

  8. If you started recently, your body isnt used to it and can get out of rhythm. Ask a doctor and dont worry :)

  9. You are in your early stages, so you might skip a month. It's completely normal. If your period doesn't come next month, then I would see a doctor.
