Help Me!! iPod Touch Software Upgrade?

So my friend told me that in order for me to get the App. Store on my ipod touch that I had to upgrade to the 2.0 software. However, my iTunes is telling me that my software is up to date. I have the 1.1.5 software currently. If my friend is wrong then just tell me some way to get the App. store onto my iPod.

  1. You can try to 'reformat' the ipod touch. Does that help?


  2. You software is up to date. But, if you want to upgrade you Will have to buy the 2.01 software

  3. u have to buy it from iTunes

    the 2,0 firmware update is 9.99
