In Texas Hold 'Em Poker, is it required to use all the cards in your hand in the Show-down, or can you use any 1 or none of the cards in your hand as well?

yep, as the other responder says, you aren't required to use any particular combination of hole and community cards in Hold 'em. The best 5 cards from the seven available to you make up your hand. (Other games, for example Omaha, are another story...)
