  1. If you haven't learned how to serve overhand yet, I suggest you start practicing.  Nothing is more embarrasing than being the only person still serving underhand.

  2. it shouldn't be that hard to find a volleyball camp that you can go to. Go to the university nearby and ask if they have any volleyball camps. Or go to you state/province's regional volleyball website and see if they have any camps. or ask your coach

  3. for both grade school and high school here are some tips that will help you

    - ALWAYS pay attention you'll never know when you might be called on to answer a question

    - NEVER talk when the coach is talking to the whole team.listening is very important

    - BE dedicated on what you do,even if you don't like the drill your coach assigned you do your hardest.

    - BE observant, especially if you're sitting down watching other people play, you might have to play their position if they want a break or your coach to ask for someone new

    - VOLUNTEER if your coach asks for someone to step up to do a drill or an example, even if you're not to sure how to do it step up because that's what coaches look for in a player.

    - AND always have fun on what you do,sports aren't always serious.they're ment to have fun and to enjoy the sport

i hope some of that worked, and good luck.

  4. Join a club team outside of school or sign up for a camp so you can work on your skills with others who take it seriously.

  5. try really hard. even if you're not that good, they'll notice you if you try hard. also, talk to your coach so they know who you are. if you guys develop a relationship before cuts, you'll have a much higher chance of making the team. GOOD LUCK!!
