  1. put transparent or your skin tone shaded loose powder on the bottom. trust me, it never smudges after that

and dont put vaseline on under. it gets sticky

  2. try puting vasiline on ur botem lid

  3. Do you have oil lids? Maybe thats the reason why.

  4. put some eye primer or base and some powders before you apply your eyeliner.... it will help the eyeliner stick steadily...

and as the final touch, put some eyeshadow with the same color on top of the eyeliner... it works for me... just don't put it too much on..

or you can always try a better eyeliner brands...

i highly recommend REVLON COLORSTAY EYELINER

it doesn't smudge or smear and it won't wear off until you wash it.... trust me on this... i've had my day of smudgy eyeliner and that sucks.... revlon really rocks my socks....!!! if you're looking for the one that isn't dry, this is a perfect choice... lots of makeup artists recommend and fave this product too....... i'm using black because i have dark hair and such.... but charcoal is also great

or if you're using contacts, ALMAY AUTOMATIC EYELINER (retractable pencil one) really works too..... it's hypoallergenic... this comes in black and brown... so black is the best i guess... brown if you want less dramatic look..

HOWEVER..... i must say that most eyeliner (pencil) will sometimes smudge.... this way, the only thing you can do is check yourself on the mirror regularly and do some touch-ups...

    hope this helps.....

  5. It smears? Mine never smears.. Do you ever rub your eyes or are your eyelids particularly oily?

For tricks there's definitely a really good one I discovered recently.

When you put on your liner, get an eyeshadow in a matching color. Use an eyeliner brush to put some of the matching eyeshadow on top of your liner so it really sets the eyeliner and the eyeliner will NOT budge. I use this trick on my waterline and my eyeliner will last all day and looks as if I just put it on. Just be careful not to get any eyeshadow in your eye because that burns like crazy

  6. The reason its smears is because of the oil on your skin. You need to apply powder before you put on the eyeliner so it has something to stick to and it stays on longer too!

  7. That's weird....

could be the oils around your eyes. You can try using a translucent powder over the liner and around your entire eye to see if that curbs the smudging. Otherwise it may be the eyeliner, sad to say.
