Help ! My brothers phone charger - it's stuck !?

I was in my brothers room using his computer and he has one of those chairs with wheels. Well, i've just accidently run over his phone charger with the chair and now it's all tangled up in the wheels of the chair and i can't get it out. What shall i do ? I need to get it out before he comes home and sees what i've done !

pop the cover on the sides of the wheel off and gently remove the cord. if that doesnt work, run!

Very slowly, very calmly stop.

Unplug the cord from both the phone and the wall.

Flip the chair over so you can see the wheel.

Then calmly unravel the cord from the wheel.

Put everything back and rest easy.

If you can't figure it out, then don't end up breaking it which would be worse. Apologize and learn from it not to do what you shouldn't again.

d**n you're screwed!  Maybe.

It can only come out the same way it went in.  If you just pull on it, you are going to make it harder or impossible to get out.

Can you get a light in there and spin the wheels or whatever by hand and see if you can unwind it?

Maybe something to get in there and hook a loop of wire and loosen it?  Like a crochet hook or something?

The main thing is to be patient and tackle it carefully.

Yikes. He should keep it off the floor so I'd say he learned what can happen.

Can you talk to your parents about this? It sounds like an accident. Just go to your parents tell them what happened.

my mom always said if its not where it is supposed to go and it gets damaged, its your own fault for not keeping it safe.

Is the charger plugged in? If so, unplug it. Is the phone in the charger? If so, take it off and put it up so it isn't damaged. Start at the end where the phone plugs in and then work that end through all the loops. If the charger is damaged when you get through with this, it's okay. You can buy another charger for pretty cheap at the store where you got your brother's phone.
