Help! My cockatiel bites, i've been having him about 5 yrs?

at first he didn't bite, untill i brought home a female cockatiel. that's when he started to bite. Afterwards she left... now i just have him but he continues to bite. I need to know how i could stop him from biting me. thanks.

i think you should just try to pet him more often. just show him that you love him. when he bites, don't flinch. just scold him a bit. he will realize that biting wont get him anywhere.
