  1. You'll have your baby, and you'll have a family

    congrats

  2. i have gas too

    i heard john lennone died

  3. sounds like they are trying to get you ready for what you will soon be facing.  you should listen to them.

  4. Honey, they are speaking the truth! Just rent a video about child birth and you'll see for yourself, or ask someone who's given birth. You wouldn't believe the stuff that goes on through what's usually a blessed occasion! Anyway, they're not mean, but wouldn't it be nicer if they'd just say sweet, loving things about how happy for you they are? Maybe next time....

  5. THere not mean, there just teasing you, its a way for them to get excited, there just happy that there going to be (great) grandparents and being playful teasingly Dont take it to serioulsy.

  6. yeah, the truth is mother knows best. don't worry though, nothing to be ashamed of just a natural part of life. no different than belching and farting after a big meal.

  7. how old are you? write back!

  8. Well, it's painful, unless u get an epidermal.  There's not embarrassing about birth.  they put a catheter in you, and if you clean your system out before you won't have a problem with having an accident.  If you don't you should shave before you have the baby or the doctor will have to do it for you.  Other than that, I don't know what other embarrassing things they are telling you.

  9. you'll have to learn your own truth

  10. Don't worry, every pregnancy is different. For instance I had 2 uterus's, I didn't know about it until I had a hysterectomy years later. When my doctor came in afterward he said he felt like he was operating on a ET. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just trying to tell you everyone is different. Your mom and grandma should be trying to relieve your tension and remember how scary it was when they were pregnant. Go to your OB and talk to Her about it. I suggest a female women doctor's tend to be better doctor's in my opinion. Also seek out some women who are pregnant in your age group. They will probably be more supportive.

  11. How do you know what they are telling you ISN'T the truth?

  12. well right now you sound like you are a bratty sixteen year old who just got knocked up by her 2 month boyfriend so that is prob why your mom and grandma are being such an *** to you. oh and it really doesn't sound that bad they are just trying to joke around with ya

  13. Giving birth is not a pretty sight.  The mother-to-be is a sweaty mess from the pain and the pressure of pushing the baby out.  With all the pushing, sometimes you p**p yourself right there on the table but since you're on an epidural, you probably won't even notice it.  If you go the natural route and the baby is too big, the tissue around your v****a may tear and you'll have to be stitched up.  Sometimes the doctor can anticipate this and just cut you instead so it won't leave much of a nasty scar compared to tearing when it heals.

I'm surprised that you weren't aware of all these normal things that go on in a delivery room.  Be prepared...I'm sure it will be something you'll remember for the rest of your life.

  14. lol maybe u should tell wat embarasing things they're saying and im to young to get preg. so most of it i wont know  ....sry :(

  15. There is nothing embarrassing about childbirth. It's beautiful!

Yes a doctor sees your area but after the dozens of dozens of appointments that you will have by the time it comes to deliver you won't care who sees it.

Nothing really is embarrassing about it, it all depends on the types of things they are telling you!

    Congrats!!

    Good Luck and God Bless

  16. awww!!!!!!!!!!

    They love you honey.

    That's all.

  17. i think it is the truth. i too was surprised to here this.  i read about it in the dr. office when getting a check up, while pregnant.

  18. oh honey! Welcome to motherhood! If I were you..the book I read was Belly Laughs by Jenny Mcarthy! they aren't being mean...they're telling the truth! The constipation, the gas, the heartburn...the fact that you might empty your colon while pushing!
