Help! My pc is so infected with adware, malware, etc.Is there a free way to clean it?

I do not have a credit card or bank account. How can I fix my PC at no cost to me?

Download an run the the following free software, delete what ever they find should leave your PC free of infections:

Once you have removed it keep Avast and download Comodo Pro firewall, then switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE this should stop it returning. (links on my profile)

after the restore session (successful or not) Download and run Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. this will help you get rid of trojans, spyware, and malware

Update your Anti Virus and Anti Spyware

Turn off System restore

Start Computer in Safe Mode

Scan with Anti Virus and Anti Spyware

After scan is finished and you have deleted the Trojan

Restart computer set a new restore point and delete all previous points.

Rescan with Anti Virus and Anti Spyware.

If you do not have Anti Virus or Anti Spy Ware I recommend Avast and Spyware Terminator.

If you have the recovery CD you can set the computer back to it's original out of the box state. You would need to back up or save to a disk any files that you wish to not lose, including photos. I just had to do this myself. You have to update everything, but it will get rid of the viruses. Then you need a good antivirus software AVG free is good and update daily. Good luck. I also use Ad Aware 2008.
