Help!! My purebred horse seems to have whooping cough and his knee's are shakin'(?!)?

I coincidently happened after he lost his 5th race :-(

could it be he caught 'something' or stressed out?

and do horses 'know' whether or not they won or lost?

You really need to call the vet.  I don't remember my horse diseases, but I feel like I remember learning something about that.  He's obviously not well and that's not just a normal cough...  there's nothing that you can do without a vet, so call one now.

I really doubt that he's upset about losing.  Actually, the coughing is probably WHY he lost... it's probably something that he has had and it has become a lot worse today.  If you call the vet, he may be able to take a medication that will make him better so he'll win his 6th race!

Just Call your vet. You don't want to take any chances with a nice purebred horsie!:O)
