I don't know why but all the sudden I'm spotting large dark brown spiders with long legs. They aren't daddy long legs because the legs aren't long enough, but they're still long and I have arachnophobia.

  1. Most spiders are not poisonous to human beings. There are about 3,000 different spiders in North America, but only a few of them cause problems for people.

Many people find spiders repulsive and scary, yet the majority of spiders are harmless and beneficial.

Consider how much bigger you are than a spider  and that spiders probably can't even see you. Although spiders typically have eight eyes, many have poor eyesight. Spiders pose no real threat to us. In fact, you can appreciate spiders for their significant contribution to insect control.

  2. go to any home depot or lowe's and they have a huge selection of spider killers, insecticides. or if u need something now at this time, u can go to a 24 hr store like walmart supercenter and get a can of Raid. good luck i hate spiders too!

  3. Like the others stated, find a good insecticide labeled for spiders.  Find something with a residual effect versus a short lived contact killer.  More importantly though, find the entry point.  Inspect the windows and doors in your home and make sure they are closed completely and seal properly.  Spiders and and other arthropods don't need much room so inspect baseboard/floor areas for cracks and caulk with silicone as necessary.  The most effective pest control is keeping them out in the 1st place.  Hope that helps.

  4. if u get lizards they can help out.House centipedes can do the same thing however most ppl are freaked out from its appearance. If u don't want animal support then just buy mothballs or those small glue box used to trap roaches.

  5. Get the broom amd smack them.
