My son has this thing where every couple of weeks he will take off his diaper and go potty on the floor. Usually he just pees which is bad enough. But today he pooped...and rubbed it into the rug. So my question is...how do you clean p**p out of the rug?

  1. I would  get a carpet brush and use dawn and water.  Then for peace of mind, I would spray some Liquid Alive on it.  It has enzymes and live microbes that eat up stuff but will not hurt your carpet in any way.  As for your son, sounds to me like he is trying (or getting ready to try) to potty train.  Put his lil potty right where he has been going on the floor and watch him like a hawk.  Good luck!

  2. how old is he? still in a nappy so i'm guessing about 2? next time he does it you should get him to help you clean it up...... this is a really strange thing for a kid to do.... although i have seen worse!!

  3. Oxy-Clean

  4. the clean p**p off rug get steam cleaner and use it on the rug it also looks like your boy is ready for potty traning.

  5. Go to a pet supply store or even Wal-Mart and look in the dog section.  They usually have cleaners that help with this.  My son has started jumping up and peeing on the floor after I take his diaper off.  I have been using Odorban.  It works great but I'm sure they have something better down the pet aisle.

  6. You can put a onesie or other one-piece shirt or outfit on him to keep him in his diaper, but he may also be ready to potty train...

Try getting a small child's potty and putting it in the play area. If he makes a mess on the floor, have him help you clean and then put the waste in the potty. He will learn that it belongs in the potty and will begin doing so himself.

Interesting in that he may potty train himself with little effort from you.

    Good luck!
