Help......My son was playing with the keyboard and now my screen resolution is really dark.

He only touched the keyboard so my brightness and contrast buttons on the monitor are not helping. Does anyone know what to do about this?

depending on what is on your keyboard, it can be from that. Looke for the blue or red FN button on your keyboard. then look for a sunshine shape. Press the FN and sunshine together up or down so that you can change it. If that doesnt help- then go into your control panel.

First of all screen resolution and brightness are completely different things. One way that your son could have changed the brightness is by accessing the special control panel from your desktop, it could be ati, nvidia, intel, sis, I just dont know but if you could find out it would help improve the answers. right click the desktop if you have one of the named above in the list click it and it should open a box with all the display attributes. If not, just select display properties, the display, then advance and you should find it there.

You also did mention if it was a laptop or pc, if it were a laptop he can change the brightness directly from the keyboard - just refer to your manual to find out how to put it back.
